When you contract with The Pool Doctor to have a repair completed, we never take a cent until the job is
complete and the pool owner is happy.

We have a large contractors truck, which holds just about anything we need in order to complete almost
any job.

We never charge hourly, and we never nickel and dime you to death. When we come out to your property
and give you your free estimate, we quote the total dollar amount for that job including parts and labor.

We carry out repairs in all geographical areas.

Below you will find a list of the repairs that we do with a simple description of what that repair entails. For
more information about your particular problem, search our
FAQ's Page.
COMPLETE SYSTEM INSTALLATION.

We install new American made pool equipment, either individual components or the complete system.
A new typical system includes; DE filter (sized correctly) including an upright backwash valve, one or more pumps and motors (sized correctly),
a digital dual thermostat heater (sized correctly), assorted valves including 3-way directional valves and check valves, time clock and box if
needed and all the pipe and plumbing.
The layout of the equipment is designed to best suit your needs, taking into consideration efficiency and energy conservation. The plumbing is
neatly glued with no messy glue or primer drips. All threaded nipples are thicker pipe (schedule 80) for longevity, properly taped or sealed. All
pipes are marked according to directional flow and the homeowner will be walked through for orientation and familiarization. A pool sweep can
be installed if needed. See
Automatic Pool Sweeps.

The cost for this system depends on the number of components needed.

TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEMS

We tackle most problems, whether they are small or large, simple or complicated. We can troubleshoot visible water leaks, plumbing and
electrical problems, chemical or staining problems, sweep and water flow problems. We listen to your problem over the telephone, offer free
advice, assess and quote, or pay you a visit to analyze and estimate.

Cost for this type of service is obviously dependant upon the job at hand, but many simple troubleshooting problems are tackled for the cost of
a service call.
ACID WASHES.

On our initial visit to your property, we will properly assess whether or not your pool should be acid washed. Things that we look for are plaster
fatigue, rebar stains, calcium and general plaster condition.
If your pool is a good candidate and suitable for an acid wash, we neutralize the pool chemicals, drain the pool with our submersable pump,
acid wash and scrub the pool and tile line, refill, adding conditioner and balancing the chemicals.
Time from start to finish to complete this work is about 3 days, one day to drain, one day to complete the labor and one day to fill and balance
the chemicals. It is always a good idea to have the pool filter stripped and cleaned for the new start-up.

The cost for this service depends on the size and condition of the pool, and whether or not the filter is torn down.

DECK-O-SEAL

Deck-O-Seal is the material used to seal the expansion joint in between the pool deck and the coping stones.
Deck-O-Seal replacement includes; removing the old material, preparing the gap (packing and pouring of silica sand),
mixing and neatly pouring the new material, silica sand finish and clean up.
Colors to choose from are; white, tan, gray or black.
The cost for this service is $2.75 per foot plus materials. We take into consideration the width and depth of the gap. Job usually takes one day
to complete with 72 hours total cure time in good weather.
FILTER CLEANING AND SPRING SERVICE FOR SUMMER PREPARATION

Every year in the spring, we strip and clean our customers filters and recharge. Strip their backwash valves and directional valves, lubricating
all o-rings. Add pool conditioner and balance the chemicals.

Cost for this service depends on the type and style of filter, the number of valves and the condition of the pool. Many times we run a special for
the complete service.
